Installing Claude Dev

Follow these steps to install and set up Claude Dev on your system

Install VS Code

Claude Dev is available as a VS Code extension. Ensure you have VS Code installed.

Install Claude Dev Extension

Search for "Claude Dev" in the VS Code Extensions marketplace and install it.

ext install saoudrizwan.claude-dev

Get API Key

Obtain your Claude API key from Anthropic Console.

You'll need an Anthropic account with API access. Free tier available with usage limits.

Configure Extension

Add your API key to Claude Dev settings and configure model preferences.
